Housing Support
Appointments with ONP’s Case Manager are available for anyone needing help with housing. Guests can schedule directly with Sara to receive referrals, case management, and housing support. For families experiencing homelessness, ONP also provides Transitional Housing — temporary housing paired with case management. Eligibility requires minor children in the household, and no pets are allowed. Together, these services offer compassionate support for families working toward permanent housing and stability.

Backpack Program
The Backpack Program provides nonperishable food and vouchers for any family in the River Falls School District who needs help feeding their students when school is not in session. It is open to students in 4K–12th grade, with applications accepted on a rolling basis during the school year and summer. Families may apply online or request a paper application through their school office or counseling department.
Helping Hands Fund
The Helping Hands Fund provides financial assistance for needs related to housing and job stability. Examples of requests that may be covered include vital records (birth certificate, driver’s license), vehicle registration tabs, phone/minutes, daycare, car insurance, and similar essentials. The service area includes River Falls and Ellsworth School District residents, as well as guests experiencing homelessness who are already working with an ONP Case Manager. Applications are accepted by phone during Day Center hours, and requests are reviewed with care to ensure resources go where they are most needed.
