Every Need,
Every Neighbor.
Why This Campaign Matters
Every day, more of our neighbors in Pierce and St. Croix counties face the impossible choice between paying rent, buying food, or accessing basic necessities. One-third of local households don’t earn enough to cover a basic survival budget. Our Neighbors’ Place is here to change that.
In 2024, we connected with over 4,900 individuals through our Day Center alone. That’s nearly 1,000 more people than the year before. We’ve outgrown our current facility — and that’s why we’re asking for your help.
By supporting this capital campaign, you are helping us:
- Increase the Day Center capacity and services
- A permanent home for the Backpack Program, on-site with the Day Center
- Provide private offices for guests to meet with social workers
Our Vision for Expansion
Our vision is a welcoming, expanded space that supports all five of ONP’s programs with:
- A larger, more accessible Day Center
- Private case management offices
- More welcoming, functional spaces for guests
- Additional storage and sorting space for donations
- A remodeled and expanded Closet thrift store
- A flexible Meeting Room for community and partner use
- More guest restroom access
- Laundry and shower areas designed for dignity and safety
- Secure personal storage lockers
- A larger and more efficient donation sorting space
- Accessible parking and entry improvements
This project reflects our commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and responsive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
